My  Story

I’ve been inspired to embrace a life rich in both love and creativity. My family is my biggest supporter and my Grandmother and Mother are my biggest role models. They shared with me their combined talents of artistry and grace and shaped me into the passionate artist and woman I am today.

I’ve trained in ballet, tap, and jazz for over fifteen years, including at the University of South Florida and trained with the Radio City Rockettes during their Summer Intensive. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and currently work as a professional actress, singer, dancer and choreographer based in NYC.

My artistic journey began early. I still remember the thrill of my first lead role as Candy Cane Jane in a church Christmas Pageant production.  The preparation leading up to the performance included my Grandmother teaching me choreography and asking me to sing my audition song multiple times a day and being coached, while memorizing lines, with my Mom in the living room. Rehearsals were a place of exploration and freedom to make acting choices as a different character and be creative with my friends. Then the pure excitement and energy of showtime!

I transformed myself with makeup, a different hairstyle, and costume, but the Tara inside was still there, and she was having so much fun and couldn’t contain her big smile.

The emotional journey from call time to finale bows and the electricity from the applause was life changing. I was hooked. I found my purpose in life at ten years old; to tell stories through the craft of performance, song, dance, and visual art and to make people happy!

Artist & Entrepreneur

From my earliest days, creativity and ambition have been inseparable companions. When I was young, I started a small business called Tara by the Sea, where I custom-painted dance bags with my original designs and sold them at local dance studios. As a teenager, I transformed my creativity into my surroundings, hand-painting furniture in my room with original designs. Art was not just an activity for me—it was a way of thinking and expressing myself. I have continued developing my practice through custom mural work for businesses and have worked in mixed media- acrylic, pencil, watercolor, clay, and graphic design.

As I grew, I started expressing myself more through music. I was in school choir and taught myself how to play piano and guitar.  I am a trained lyrical soprano and last year participated in my first Opera Chorus with the Vero Beach Opera Society in La Traviata. I also started writing my own lyrics and music and am excited to announce that I’m currently producing my first album which will be released later this year!

My entrepreneurial spirit was sparked again when I launched Tara’s Treats LLC, a cottage food bakery and small business. Baking became my newest art form — a space where I could blend my science background with creativity to craft delicious, memorable treats. I had the pleasure of catering weddings and events, including the Golden Fork Awards Ceremony and the Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce Centennial Celebration, honing my skills as a pastry chef while bringing joy through flavor and design.

My greatest accomplishment to date was seeing The 28th Street Boarding House, an original musical I wrote and developed with my Grandmother, come to life on stage last year. I worked as the Artistic Director, Choreographer, Sound Engineer, Musical Arranger, and Graphic Designer with The Vero Beach Theatre Guild and led a cast of seventeen. My Grandmother and I spent five years in the developmental process of the musical and I learned so much from the experience. It strengthened my abilities in visual storytelling, art of narrative, project management, script formatting, copywriting, and graphic design. It also strengthened my love for bringing stories to life, specifically new works.

I launched my business Orange Blossom Productions and Events LLC dedicated to developing and showcasing original work. With a curated catalog of scripts and new projects, we create opportunities for emerging voices and bold storytelling to come to life on stage and screen.
